Life is in the details.

I like to make analogies between art and life. Isn’t there a saying – ‘Life is in the details.’ I really never thought about it before. At first, one plots out the bigger courses of action in life, but it’s the details that just happen. Being in the moment to enjoy the details is ‘living’. Same with creating – one can plot out the general idea, but the real joy is in resolving all the surprises and events as they happen.

I couldn’t agree more. Life & art are to be lived & enjoyed in the moment!
