I used imagery from previous long past artworks printed and transferred onto a wood surface. Though I started with a semi-romanticized view of life, 2020 has brought a new depth of emotions to the surface. Life with covid seems so complex these days.
This painting is 24″ x 24″ on an oak plywood panel and mounted on 1″ wood bars for purposes of hanging. I used image transfer, collaged papers, texture compound, acrylic and oil paints, built layer upon layer.
