All Over the Place Artist

Artist’s Bio

Susan Krieg says she has been a mixed-media artist since she was five! However, her art career took off in 1989 when she worked for Accent Graphics in Phoenix, Arizona, where she developed a figurative body of work titled ‘ARCHETYPES OF THE FEMININE’.

In 1994 she met her husband and moved to Greenwhich Village in New York City where she engaged in scenic design for theatrical companies and was represented by several galleries. In 2000 she moved across the country to the NOHO ARTS DISTRICT in Los Angeles and quickly fell into the art revival that was happening after the Northridge Earthquake. Susan did this by painting over two dozen mural projects. This includes 40 roll-up security doors on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Bob Barker tribute at CBS and many community murals that had the communities and children involved in the painting. Susan was chosen by Judy Chicago to facilitate the painting portion of Judy’s multi-faceted project entitled ‘ENVISIONING THE FUTURE’ in Pomona, California.

Susan is now exploring the inclusion of phosphorescent neon paints and pens in her landscapes and mixed-media figurative works.
