It’s a stark reality. In the US, 1 out of 5 people are expected to get some form of cancer. My husband was diagnosed in June of 2019 and has been receiving chemo infusions every other week since then. Cancer is horrible and chemo is horrible; filled with a roller coaster ride of emotions, from despair to hope. My husband has lost around 70 pounds since this all began. I’m dedicating this painting to him. It represents all the emotions, pain, and self-discovery he has gone through.
‘Chemo Again’ is 36″ x 27.5″ acrylic, texture and oil on Somerset Printmaking Paper.
