Pandemic Picasso

If I could have an alternative self, an altered ego, after a year of ‘Covid’, I choose to be Pablo Picasso.

To me he was a person who lived with passion, playfully exploring artistic styles, yet seriously studying technical aspects of art.

I used several of his images and several photos of myself. This was to portray me as both artist and model. I combined self-exploration, my interest in sacred geometry, and current events. These elements helped to create this snapshot in some alternative time, in some alternative world.

Painting was sold during July show at Chris Alvarez Gallery – Colorado springs.
